Blue Murder: Killer Cop air date on Channel 7

The Seven Network has confirmed its latest reality series Hell’s Kitchen Australia, and new locally produced mini-series Blue Murder: Killer Cop will both premiere on Sunday August 6.

Seven has made the decision to delay the premiere of both shows, until one week after the premieres of rival shows The Block and Survivor Australia.

The network will be desperately hoping these two new shows will reboot its year, after falling into a ratings hole since the conclusion of House Rules.

Hell’s Kitchen Australia features celebrity chef Marco Pierre White and a group of competing Australian celebrities.

Blue Murder: Killer Cop, starring Rake's Richard Roxburgh reprising his role from 1995 of Roger Rogerson, the corrupt NSW Police Detective who was found guilty of murder and drug supply. He joined by a stellar Australian cast including Matt Nable (Barracuda), Dan Wylie (Secret City), Aaron Pederson (City Homicide), Toni Collette (United States of Tara), and Emma Booth (Glitch), among others.
